I am going to be down towards gold coast way tomorrow arvo after lnch some time i was thinking of trying a bit of luring and maybe bait soaking around the spit area?

Anyone think this is a good idea/bad idea or have another spot landbased to suggest?

ve been fishing the seaway for the last few days now on both the high and the low tides.ive caught alot of striped tuna mac tuna chopper tailor on 20 to 40gram metal slugs and with live bait there are still a few good jew fish around id try the out going tide as the water is dirtyer and the bigger fish can ambush the bait as for the high tide the water is a bit to clean but u still will get ur fish on a lighter leader good luk
