whats on your sounder

hey would any of u guys take a shot of your sounder when going over schools of fish,or bait so i can get a bit of idear so i know what to look for i know it is a lame ask but i might be going over fish and not know it,i saw a good one on bass any more info would be great. brad

i can try and have a play with mine, it will be in demo mode though, is this any good to ya mate.

Here are a few shots from my garmin, not as good as the lowrance, but I knew where to find the garmin ones as they are recent from the yak.

First one fish rising toward the thermocline

Fish sitting near the bottom, rising slowly

left side BIG fish showing a traditional arch, RHS big fishing moving up

Also clouded or ball shapes generally are bait balls with all the bait keeping tight together feeling safer from predators Next time Im out I will take good shot of various things on the sounder if that will help.

is that ground at the bottom or fish,in the red . brad

yeah mate , on the left of screen you will just make out a color tab with white at the top and goes down to green or blue, with white showing the hardest echo's, white was chosen as fish come up mostly in red or maroon. more comming. this is a zoomed shot i think. this is the screen i use most, notice where the water level has now gone, only looking where i want to, don't want to see the first 5 mtrs, and it gets rid of all that clutter, and can turn up the gain, quite a bit to find anybody hidding, and bang! lol [img size=192]http://www.australianfishing.com.au/media/kunena/attachments/legacy/images/sounder_pic__s_006.jpg

no matter how bumpy it is on the right hand side of the screen, the bottom lock feature always shows it as a flat bottom.
