IE Cannot Open: Operation Aborted

I am not sure if this has been addressed to or if it's just my computer playing up but I have been trying to post on the thread I created but so far have been unable to.

Internet Explorer just keeps on giving me the "Operation Aborted" message.

The odd thing is that this only happens to specific threads.

I thought I should bring this to the Admin's attention.

I have the same problem occasionaly.

I'm using Google Chrome and I love it. Quick to load and everything seems so seemless!

Can't see me ever going back to IE.

Looks very plain and boring when you first open it up, but once you become familiar with it you will love it!!

Shortie: I've just tried it on Firefox but did the same thing.

I have the same issue on some threads. Its been raised previously and the general concensus is to change off IE. It only happens to me on this site though, so I haven't bothered.

Generally it is due to an improperly embedded video into the forum.

I suspect the ebay things may be causing the problem (??)

A properly embedded video (using the video tags) will not 'break' internet explorer.

Not sure about the ebay widget though, will have to check that over the next few days. If it does will review it.

I noticed EMP had a problem only after Feral posted the Ebay widget.

i do have this problem every now and then but only on this forum no others, also i have noticed this is a VERY slow forum to load (thought the upgrade was suppose to fix this) all other forums and pages i view are pretty slick to load

Yeah personally since the upgrade this runs super fast for me.

I find Firefox faster than Explorer as well if that helps at all. Although even Explorer ios pretty good these days for me. Firefox also fixes this Embedded issue for me as well, where as Explorer still does not always like it.
