wormy thingy

now i dont know if there has been a pic of one of these little wormy thingy on here b4?

i have caught them in the harbours of scarbrough,mooloolaba and thruout the river...weird....the engulf the hook no matter how big!

In the Wild Guide to Moreton Bay i found this which looks similar. Possibly same species.

Though did it 'sting' a bit when touched? as this species does, hence the name Fire Worm.

Nothing in Grants Guide to Fishes on it.
