Tingalpa Reservoir?

Was just out on a drive before and passed tingalpa reservoir.

Does anyone know if you can fish there and if so, what do ya catch?

Pretty sure this has been covered before. You can use a search to find it. From memory you're not allowed to fish there.

Definitely a no go area in terms of fishing, although more than a few people are waiting with baited breath regarding the new Rec Access Policy from Seqwater. Hopefully enough people were motivated to make inputs when requested from the angling public to make a difference.

Personally I would hope that this Lake would become a test area for Mangrove Jack stocking in the future and eventually be turned over to rec angling access. At this stage it appears the bulk of the biomass present in this lake is formed by pest fish species.

MJ would be cool hahhaa and i wouldnt mind having some fun on carp/tillies/catties and any other noxious pest that are in there hahha
