no water

would anybody have a thought, why there is no or little water coming out of the water outlets on my out board i have some comes out from one jet but nothing out of the other one,whats the issue i have,any help would be great.brad

Sounds like your port is blocked you could try to reverse flush it with the hose or stick some thing up it to try and clear it

or your impeller might be on it's way out but that would result in no or little water out of both ports so more likely blocked

that was it gazza i think it was all clogged up with something pulled the hose off and cleaned it all out ,now cant get it back on without tacking half the side of the motor casing off ,all needs ellen keys and guess what i have none :laugh: :laugh: .brad

the water indicator jet on my honda basically never works, but water comes out all of the ports when i flush teh engine and ive never had any overheating probs

once i had some leaf matter or something ocmpacted in one of the ports and it cleared out just fine

i dunno what it is about the indicator jet though, the only time it worked is straight after its 100hr service. after the first trip out i flushed it as soon as i got home, then the next trip it was liek trickling out of the indicator jet, flushd again, 3rd trip out not coming out at all haha

i guess every engine is different,

but mine has i think 3 ports below the waterline and the one indicator jet on the side

the 3 ports below the waterline work fine, the indicator jet rarely does
