i think there heading down this weekend to sus some spots out,but a good boat anchoring would be a must with a few glass boats going.brad

brad north side of carusoe if protected from the predominant se-sw wind

the best way i've found is fore and aft anchor stern to the beach

lift the motor and let the boat sit on the sand at low tide if its low over party night

well the guys in small tinnys like mine can just drag the up the beach .more room for the bigger boats .

that 4 tree spot sounds like it could be a good 1 jeff.

i'm thinking taking a small 2 man tent and 2 sleep bags as i don't have a swag.

fishing gear ,grog and esky and more grog .some type of food .luncheon and bread or caned food i can eat cold .something that don't take up room in the esky.

cheers mate,i was going to get a real cheap on from anaconda, and for the guys going on the friday u think dry ice would be the go or just grab normal ice from the big boat that cruisers around if its still running.

I have a gas lantern and 2 burner stove can bring along - for those of us who cannot survive without coffee.

Also have a little 2 person tent someone can borrow, I have a swag so will be fine on the tarp.

Have a 75t ltr esky for communal goodies, milk, eggs, batter.

oh and a good heavy based frypan and griddle for the fire.

After the flatty social have decided to take a deckie spot with 'noname'

is going to show me a few ropes with the boat before I go for my license

Is it too early to start a countdown?
