queensland Brisbane river water quality

Hey guys,

thinking about chasing a thready or jew tonight in the river. Just not too sure if it will be worth it with all that rain we had. Anyone know how the water quality is today? Around the city is where i will probably be fishing.

i went fishing last night at bulimba (directly across from brekky creek). I landed a flathead and a family friend caught 7 nice size bream, one was 37cm.

Water quality was suprisingly not bad.

Not as bad as a week ago. I was at Jindalee Boat Ramp and it was bloody terrible.

mate, the tide is perfect timing with sunset. Id say give it ago anyway. You just never know.... might land in a monster!

The jewies usually bite at the spot regardless of the rain, im just after a thready tonite!

yeah, ive been after a thready myself for bloody donkeys years. I put a post up this morning "Thready Promise".
