I wonder if it would be worthwhile for the site to have some sort of instant comment, short cut or forum link in the \"Newest Members\" section on the left on home page for us to say welcome to the new angers or for them to introduce themselves.

What, like when they sign up they get two lines for a quick intro which is shown under their names on the left?

One could then click on it to reply, say hello etc?

Dunno what the logistics of it would be, but sounds like a good plan!
