Has anyone fished at Nudgee Beach???

Hey guys, I am heading to Nudgee beach tomorrow fishing. I was looking at fishing off that walking wetland track. Has anyone fished off it before or knows of another place near there that I can fish???

Mate search the forums. There are dozens of reports from Nudgee and the body of water it turns into called Shultz Canal. Use the forum "search" option.

Mate I fish there a lot for Whitting I usualy park at the beach at or close to low tide and fish the incoming for a couple of hours and normally bag out

Have you ever been land based off the walking track that is there. I think its the Boondall wetlands board walk

If your happy to do some walking/wading at low tide, there are definitely flathead to be had. Plastics are great for covering ground.

I thought that would be a good way to try. Is it pretty boggy out there at all??
