The State of Origin fishing comp has got off to a great start with the weather behaving.

The Event HQ is next to the BBQ area at the Jacobs Well Tourist Park. Look out for the banners.

Finally found ky bed.

Manni and Stevie Dan were first to cuddle up and to go to bed. No word on what was fed to the German backpackers, but they were smoking something afterwards.

Event HQ is now open for Day 2.

4 more competitors have so far reported in and there are reports so far of some decent bream, flathead and whiting caught.

The weather has taken a turn with the rain seeming to set it so will be interesting to see what is submitted from today's session

Apparently the weather will be clearing around lunch time, glad I'm at home today but we are setting up for my brothers engagement party and the rain has put a dampener on everything.
