massive potential thats for sure. at the end of feb we fished inside the rocky point, and saw tuna busting up, small queenies doing their thing, and heaps of bait. there were people fishing with some serious stuff out of their boats at the river mouth as well. the rocky headlands just screamed mackerel to me but it was shonky weather for that

I'll give you the advise I was given for out there by the locals when I wanted to hunt some reds. Find wayter over 40m and look for a pinical and away you go. Can't say if it worked or not cause I ended up chassing Trout and pelagics in close (I go out with spearfishermen so 40m is useless to them)

I've been told this by several locals out there so I take their word for it.

If you're after other species, Bustead head and anchor up near the rocks that come out the water at low tide. Mates have speared Jewies there in the last few weeks and a couple jack to. I've caught 10kilo + trevs there and some nice Cod Ooooo and a 12 kilo yellow fin.
