hi all, caught this off cleevland couple of weeks back.

i'v grown up in queensland and i'v never seen one befor. nice looking fish but haven't found a name for it yet.

It's a bullseye.

are they a table fish??? where at clevo canals or out deeper.

Yep red bullseye, caught them from manly boat harbour to mud to sandhills at moreton. Can get a tad over 30cm but more often low 20's. Never tried them as usually they are bycatch when getting other fish I know I would like to eat.

Caught one of these last week at the snapper social on a plastic at wello.

Had no idea what it was so thanks for the idea guys.
