Daiwa Redback antireverse issue. Help?

Hey guys just wanted to ask if anybody can shed some light on a problem i am having.

My Redback keeps slipping into free spin when anything yanks on the line, not all the time but it is starting to become an issue. missed two solid strikes due to it happening the other day and i don't catch enough fish for that sort of thing to be shrugged off!!

I'm susspecting the anti-reverse cam spring but would like opinions before i start tinkering! Cheers.

Mate how old is the reel? Just take it back on warranty.

Sounds like it needs a service, the rotor needs to come off to get the anti reverse bearing out.

Maybe try some light oil.

Should call the store where i got it and see if they will do anything under warranty, no chance that i'll be able to find the recipet though. Any idea what i might expect to pay for a service? The reel is less than three years old. Done servicing myself up untill now, just grease, oil and clean/hone drag washers. This is the first problem i have ever had with it.

Take it to the store you bought it from Daiwa will fix it under warranty, have had the same thing fixed under warranty.
