queensland Escapees in the Pine

Headed to the pine to the brackish water to see what the escapees were doing.Interesting to find out that there were a few bass about keen to take shrimp but not lures. First fish was a fiesty bream that stole 2 or 3 shrimp before I got its measure. Next fish was a beauty, the biggest forkie I have caught in the sth east, well I got it to the bank but lost it when I tried to lift it. I would say every bit of 15lbs, thought I had a whopper bass to start with.

Managed over 20 bass with the biggest going close to 40cm, so I thought while I have them biting I'll switch back to lures, but they had other ideas.

Sam brackish water is usualy the water between the salt and fresh, which is where the mangroves cease to exist.

Dubbzy I had my long pants on just in case.I made plenty of noise as well.

Haha yeah I know what brackish means, just worded it wrong

I was more asking where abouts it actually is in regards to suburb/location cos I've only been in the salt part and way upstream in the fresh, and never really known (or bothered to find out) where those two meet haha .
