Does anyone know of any fishing spots around Mount Tamborine?

A few friends and i are looking to go fishing and we don't know much about spots, fish type or anything like that. Doesn't bother us, as long as we get a chance to go fishing. Willing to drive at least an hour away and we are staying at Thunderbird Park if that helps to find fishing spots.

Wow the options are endless if you want to drive an hour from there. I'd say try the goldcoast broadwater or any estuary down that way, they all hold fish.

Why not try Eco park on the beenleigh -tamborine road. pay to fish but well run and very helpful owners and good amenities.They provide rods etc and bait and will even teach you how to fly fish.

The Coomera river has cleared up quite well, Fresh or salt you have the option.
