queensland North Pine Dam - the greener side!

Well they always say the grass is greener on the other side of the fence, so I was chuffed to be allowed to participate in the Tagging day on NPD dam where we were allowed to go in to the sailing clubs area.

We did about 15k according to the GPS today exploring right up Kobble creek and the southern creek (dont know the name of it). Gave the old boat a good work out, batteries were down to 24.2 for the bow motor bank and 12.2 for the transom bank when I got home.

Not a lot of water up there unfortunately, but very pretty country side.

Thanks to SEQ Water and The sailing club for giving us access, and to Barry and the boys at PRFMA for putting in all the hard yards organising things.

Afraid we did not explore too much . We found a good school at the second stop and sat on it.
