queensland If only there were more shrimp!

Had a great first day of holidays out at NPD! We made our way downstream after doing the pots and were straight into the fish! The conditions were perfect and the bass were an added bonus to a great day! Sadly the shrimp didn't last long :ohmy: We finished the morning with 32 bass, 1 tandan and 1 forkie and we were home for lunch.

Some were big.

And some were small :silly:

This $12 rod just managed to hold up without breaking for this monster

Terrible conditions meant that we had to come home early :silly:

Kept getting distracted from taking photos because of the fish!

Oh, and it looks like someone has been at my pots as one was ripped open and another was just gone!

Pot might have washed away or sunk James, water level is up nearly a metre. One of mine the float was 50cm below the surface, I was just lucky to spot it glowing from the depths.

I also had a water rat kept ripping my pots apart in one location as well. Even tried one of Ray's galvanised wire pots and he ripped that up to! Gave in and moved my pots!

Shrimp do not last long with 4 people fishing, well done there is some good bass about at the moment.
