resolved Logging on

For the last few days I've had to log on every time I access AFO !!

Not happening with any other site!!

Any one else in the same boat?

I still have to log in each time, even if i tick the "remember me" button.

I also changed from Iron to Chrome and the same thing happens.

I'm again having to log on each time. Crossing the "Remember me " box has no effect.

Also pages are very slow to load up.

Only this site.

Same here luc, driving me nuts having to log on every time with phone and ipad find my self not using the forum as it's a pain in the arse

I still have to log in every time I visit the site. The remember button making no difference. Does it keep re occurring to others?

Using an ipad. I don't seem to be logged in each time I check the site, even though I have used the remember me box. But if I open a post it seems to log me in at that point. Other times I have to go through the log-in process. So it is not entirely consistent.

Refreshing the Latest Posts tab twice usually will see you logged back in if you haven't been logged out for too long (coupla days or so).

I've been having the same problem for a long time now. Just like you Wayne, it makes no difference whether I tick the "remember me" box. Not sure why it doesn't work as it always used to.

Thanks James for confirming that. I was speaking to another member quite a while back who said they were so sick of logging in every time that they hardly visited the site anymore.

With the log out issue... Do you mean like while actually browsing?

Or if you go away and come back later you have to log in again?

Like ellicat mentioned when issues arise please be as detailed as possible. General descriptions leave webby and myself either 30 things to look at or 0. This often results in it just not happening.

The amount that some simple information can narrow an issue down is priceless.

Hi guys,

Just a quick heads up, AFO will be in approximately 2-4 weeks moving to a new platform. This will game changing. It will provide huge performance improvements, stability and overall far better user experience.

In the meantime, if we could ask for some patience with these bugs with existing system as our time will be put towards moving to our new platform.

There will be a few days downtime to make this huge move, so we will advise closer to the date to let everyone know.
