Yes,

There are two kayak launch points the council put in last year, one behind the tennis court, one further up, as well as waraba creek weir being easily accessible. Or plenty of spots to get at the water from the bank.

we (Caboolture fish stocking assn) stock it with Bass and this year Mary Cod.

The Tilapia in there are the size of small horses as well.

Do you have to have a permit to fish i the river if its stocked?

The weir wall is right where the creek joins in to the river.

You access the Wier wall from Waraba crescent.

See the map, where the SES is highlighted. the SES is now gone and it is clear land, easy access (Used to have to climb around the SES fence before they demolished it)
