Been a while between reports again.

Went out a Few weeks with a mate, I installed some pool Equipment for him and in return he took me out for a fish to chase some Jew. 

Morning started off pretty good with 2 Jew fish hitting the deck mine was first on board after Jamal picked the school up on structure scan and put us in the spot i dropped a white 5" zman down on my Nordic stage dynamic 7'7 and hooked and landed a nice 84cm jew which put up a nice fight. After a quick photo Jamal found the school and this time pick himself up a nice jew on jig going a little bigger than the first. rest of the day was a bit of struggle when the electric had some minor issues and we couldn't use it anymore.

2 weeks ago i took my brother and Damine2... out for a fish in hope of some snapper instead the fishing was incredibly slow and we couldn't buy a bite. I ended up dropping a nice golden... after that we decided to get a feed of squid. we managed to get 8(?) which was nice. sadly we did not sipatch them properly and they eneded up rather chewy.

And finally last weekend Jeremy and I headed to a property i have been going to for years, and for some reason this time i had the desire for Venison. As we where pulling up to the farmers gate we saw a few Fallow in the paddock right next to the house grazing on the oates. We went and checked in with the cocky and watch the first half of the Broncos and he said he was pretty over these deer smashing his oates. So we went back out to the ute and set up. 200 meters down the road and i had my first deer. 

Tried my first bit of back strap last night and i am now hooked. 

A fella that was there the week before with his dogs managed a Beauty of a pig

Did you do anything else with the deer?

My friends have been doing some trips with a very experienced shooter and they usually turn them into great kabanas.

 

I get the occasional kabana as a thank you for helping them out sometimes

What a great few hunting trips on the fish and bambies Chris the jew are 1 of my favorite fish to catch been to long between drinks though

A lot of people are not educated on what the feral's actually do the farmers property and stock... so I just cover myself haha.

We dressed it in the field and hung it in the farmers cold room for the few days we were there and then took all the meat we could. Cooked the back straps the other day... Delicious!

thanks Tugger, Jew are definitely a favourite... wish I could catch them like some of the other boys do.
