A couple of weeks ago I ventured south over the border into Cod country. A fair bit of exploring, a fair bit more walking, and enduring of sub-zero temperatures, was all rewarded when I landed my PB 92cm Murray Cod. I was pretty excited considering most cod around here average around 50-55cm, and my previous PB was 66! 92cm Murray Cod, Tenterfiled Ck, 30Jul16.JPG

I also landed a 55 and a 54cm cod in the session.

Then yesterday I went out on the yak to one of my local estuaries and landed 4 fish, of 4 species - My modest PB 57cm Flathead:

My third ever and PB Estuary Cod (32cm):

A 29cm Bream, and my second ever and PB Mangrove Jack (46cm):

The Jack pulled like a train!!

Pretty decent result for my last two trips :-)
