Mono To Wind On Leader Knot??

Hey team

Im wanting to attach a wind on leader (apprx 100lb+) to my main line (24kg mono) but im unsure as to what knot to use. I've read up about the surgeons loop..? but im unsure if it will be strong enough. Any suggestions? I know the bimini twist is great for braid applications, but im pretty sure it wouldn't work on mono.

I use the Yucatan knot and not have any problems with it.

I have not used the Bimini twist in braid, however it is fine to be used with mono. Used for years when quick rigging on yellowfin tuna and it held up.

there you go, i didn't know you good use the bimini twist on mono...thanks @Luvit

No problems, there are some advantages to being a bit older. My memory is not always the best but I remember the important things fishing.
