Today's Fish

Woke up 4AM early in the morning and headed to Kiama NSW

 

I caught more than dozen of Drummer and small unknown fishes but there were so small.

 

I brought only 2.

 

about 50cm Drummer

 

and dunno what it is

 

 

I used 7'20" lure fishing rod (lol) and floating rig.

 

Bait was salted chicken thigh.

In Victoria we would refer to the second fish as a rock cod. Slimy as.

Yeah it was slimy and some kinda a sore oozes. Can I eat it?

I have caught a few bass at the dam between kiama and jambaroo I think its called jerrara dam. I know its riddled with red belly black snakes.
