Archer Fish Care

Archers are pretty tough and adaptable. Ensure the tank has a heater and an accurate temperature gauge, and also check the pH of your water weekly. As long as the water is kept around the mid to high 20s, and the pH in range is in check they're be fine. Archer will live on almost any live food, fish or insects, but if you have a paludarium tank I would try and feed them insects. Archers are pretty voracious and will try and take anything they can get their mouth around. Catch moths, flies and any sort of insect and watch as they will actively try and eat it. They don't grow too rapidly, so avoid putting anything that also has a large mouth in with them, as usually they'll end being eaten. Also avoid anything smaller than the archers too, as they will end up being eaten too.
