Had a fish with new member Panther ( Jens ) this morning. We were almost blown off the water, almost froze to death and almost caught some big bass , but had to be satisfied with some medium size and smallies, trolling jigging and bait fishing.

Agree on the weather synopsis - I hopped out of my car at Corinda at 6:30am this morning to start setting up for Cross Country and was sure glad I'd chucked in a spray jacket (something thicker would have been preferable but better than nothing) - the wind chill woke me up!!

Its funny how in the creeks the fish seem to shut down a bit in the winter and in the dams the fishing gets better.I suppose we eat a bit better in the cold weather also ( speaking for my self )

In that case, the NPD bass should be going off today!!

They are there plenty of them, just dont rely on to many big ones.

Hey just saw this! Thanks for the great day Dino. What a great fishing spot that dam is when your on the water cruising around. I was only familiar with a few shore based locations but being in Dino's rig really lets you appreciate the NPD environment.
