Decided to go for a pedal at lake K yesterday. It was a nice crisp morning, all the signs were in my favour, but someone forgot to tell the bass. It was a very poor showing with only a few caught. Tried jigging in a couple of places for no luck, trolling finally paid off, after I was on a donut  until 9am. I dont think I will be back for awhile.

9am?, the bass are keeping gentlemen's hours by the sound of it!  Must be getting to cold for them to get out of bed for an early feed!

I'd be more inclined to fish in the afternoon after the water has warmed up a bit especially around the edges.

That's a shame @Dinodadog I was hoping you would give me a tour!! 

Last time I got out in lake K for a yak I only scored one bass in 2.5 hours.
