We have been allowed over in the out of bounds area for the last 2 days to do some tagging. Mate Luke and I managed to get over 200 bass on lures, tagging 100 of them. We found heaps of schooling bass where some were willing to take lure but some had lockjaw and would not take anything. Worst part of the trip is we will have to wait another year to get over there again.

Just being able to participate in this yearly event makes it worth while having a boating permit even if you only use it once a year,

Bring on next year, meanwhile we will enjoy our area thats been doing OK as well.
