NPD 17/8/17

After a few days recovering from the survey I and Hai and Rick Ventured back to NPD this morning.
By the time we had done the shrimp traps the wind had started to get up and the fish were elusive ( non existent ) at some of their normal spots so we just kept looking at the sounder until we finally located them at around 10am.
They were not hungry and we had to tempt them to bite by sweeping our rods sideways rather than just jigging then shrimp up and down.
Plenty of bass over 40cm with the best going 48cm. I got the prize for the smallest bass at 21cm.

Gunna have to get a new ruler that is visible in photos.
We knocked off at midday with the counter on 50 bass so what initially looked like a donut day ended up ok.

Spotted a couple of deer foraging on the waters edge.
Cheers

Ray I zoomed the photo to 400% size and can see the measurement (46cm). I'd submit it :) (Being serious too.). I am surprised it wasn't too windy today? Sheltered there or did the wind pick up after you'd finished?
