Done a trip to Baroon yesterday to see if there was any action with the bass up there. I had to work double hard to get into double figures. Nearly had a second buster in 2 days as another blokes overexcited staffy dog greeted me and nearly knocked me over and stayed under my legs while I was trying to keep my balance.

Water was like pea soup as can be seen in one of the pics. I circumnavigated the whole dam in search of a school but could only pick up the odd fish here and there.Managed a dozen bass and a whopper tandan. Its such a pretty, restfull place its worth the trip even if you dont get any fish.

Sounds like you may have walked under a ladder recently.

All on shrimp I'm guessing ?  Nice 47. How long was the tandan ?

Pic doesnt do the tandan justice, it was a over 50 fatty.

All on bait, wouldnt touch a  lure.
