Makes Me Wet

So it's too wet for me this weekend. I am going to repair some crab pots and do a tidy up and try and design some rod lockers for Quampie.

Are any of you fool hardy enough to be like @Dinodadog and head out regardless or do you have tips on how to go for a fish in the wet?

I have always said first day of rain is always good, but I'll settle for the third or fourth day if I have to.

im thinking I may have a clean up of all my fishing storage, bench etc as its just a bomb site at the moment

Must be getting good rain in the catchment dam has risen .4%today. Terrors creek up a metre and Kobble creek over 2 metres. Kobble creek should be worth a cast this arvo or tomorrow morning.

Tips

take a rain coat

make certain bilge pump works .

Maybe a change of dry clothes for trip home.

Maybe we should look at building a nice shelter at Boral Landing, be great for bbq and somewhere to dry out!!

I was thinking of just doing a bit of fishing under a bridge or something down my way, does the amount of rain we've had usually turn off the fish? Not that I really care either way.

Great idea. I would be happy to help with the build. There are a lot of grants available for these sort of projects. Council would probably pay for all the materials.
