I live about 30 mins from Noosa. The rivers around me were extra brown with all the rain we have had over the last couple of weeks. I went out on Sunday for a paddle , hopefully its a bit better around Noosa way.

When I've been to Noosa I've fished Weyba creek and off the sandbanks near the river mouth with quite a bit of success. Hopefully a local will come along with some better tips.

There are some nice weed banks at the north-eastern end of Goat Island near Noosaville that I found some flathead around at Easter last year. Nice little paddle doing a lap around Goat. If you do, on the northern side about half way along is a little drain/creekmouth that seems to hold bait and therefore flathead also.

If you're not keen on chasing flathead, @Luke Landrunner may be able to give you some other options and up to date info, however he may be too busy as he's heading to 1770 to fish the reefs tomorrow (the lucky bu99er ..........).

Good luck and chuck a report up as I'm heading there this Easter holidays :)
