Cowfish13, It's from a Bronze Whaler.

pinkey, The little one was caught by reelchippy on a bit of squid...not meant for a shark...mono leader etc. Lucky to be hooked in the corner of the mouth. My kids gave the flavour 9/10:laugh:

What's the go with the eyes? Do you use them for something?

The shark had no further use for them either.

is it hard to clean the skin of the jaw and how do u get the flesh and that of the jaw anyway?

and do they get left in bleech and water for bout 3hours?

Just finished eating it and it tasted great even tho i didnt bleed it or ice it straight away it still tasted realy nice

I was thinking of 20lb line to a 3 way swivel with a line to a sinker and the other line being a metal trace to the live bait.

Do you think that would work? any better suggestions?

I didnt use a float, i used a BIG sinker. I had 20lb mainline , and about 3 meters of 50lb mono so i could lift the shark up the ledge/drop off that i fish off. about 50cm of 50lb mono leader with 15cm off 30lb coated wire trace i think. just remember you dont need to go to heavy on the trace or the sharks sometimes shy away from heavy and long wire traces... use live mullet, boney bream, herring or small catfish, or eel chunks and hold on! good luck
