Was drooling over the forecast and Hai rang looking for a decky spot so I said why not go to the eastern arm of Hinze.

We did not have many shrimp and the fish were scarce but we still had a cracker of a day.

The fish were small and we could only find them scattered in 14 feet of water with the barred grunter plentiful.

Final score was only 20 bass with the largest going 35cm and the rest just over 30cm.

See 5 boats taking advantage of SEQ water now allowing you to leave your outboard whilst fishing in  their leccy dams ( Wish another unnamed stocking Assn would get their heads out of the sand. Reckon they would double the number of permits sold)
