We had a boat load at NP this morning with Stewart,Hai and Mark as deckies.
We got a good haul of shrimp and then checked 4 redclaw pots that Rick dropped in on Friday.
About 35 redclaw from the pots so it is definitely worth while dropping some opera pots  in.
We then went to the same place that we caught fish last Sunday and where Rick caught 90 odd on Friday.
The bite slowed down around 10 am so we went downstream a bit looking for a school only catching one fish in an hour so I decided we would go back to our original spot and if nothing doing there we would call it a day.
Long story short they were back and some really good quality fish with 3 over 50cm.
We had seen Luke trying a few spots unsuccessfully so we waved them over and they were spot locked about 15 feet from us and they only caught 2 fish  :-[ so we gave them a handful of shrimp when we left so hopefully they caught a few more as the fish were thick on the sounder.
Stewart had a few firsts.
First ever tandan. ( Actually he caught 4)
Increased his pb bass to 49.5 ( Just could not crack the 50)
First freshwater eel ( Estimated around 5 feet)
First tagged fish which was not in the suntag data base. ( bugger so no certificate)
Total score for the day
Million smiles.
85 bass 3 of which were tagged one that I caught was tagged in 2012 and has grown 13cm
4 tandans
35 redclaw and 1 eel.

Another great day with the Master (Ray). Ray's usual modesty prevails again with him not disclosing he got the 2 biggest Bass at 52 & 53cms.
Lots of laughs as always when fishing with Ray. This was the best day with excellent quality fish since before Cyclone Debbie last year.
Thanks again to Ray for another fantastic day fishing.
