Mate Glen had a deckie spot open this morning, so I joined him on a edge casting session.We were targeting bass on hardbodies, not expecting any toga to be around in the freezing conditions, but managed to get one each in the boat and I had another at the side of the boat waiting for the net, but by the time Glen got his lure in the toga was gone. ( I am not blaming Glen not much).Picked up a few bass as well. It was that cold, while holding the boat in the water waiting for Glen to back the car down I nearly froze in the 40k winds.

Yes not a bad bycatch, we thought they would of been hiding on such a cold day.After speaking to Steve Poole last night he informed me that they feed  all through winter.

Pretty amazing that people travel for miles with an excellent toga fishery on our doorstep.

Well done ! Seen Glenn on the weekend, first time I seen him with out a hat on ! He should deffinetly wear one all the time !
