Barracuda In Moreton Bay

Hi all,

Im looking for some info on good spots to fish for barracuda in the Moreton Bay region. I'm looking for all species of Sphyraena, I.E the great barracuda, Yellowtail Barracuda, Pickhandle barracuda, etc. I've heard they can be found in Moreton Bay, but the specific locations aren't really clear.

Any help would be appreciated!

Cheers!

Online place I have seen them in the bay is around curtain artificial and some of the shipping channels on the inside of moreton. Have seen a few when snorkeling the wrecks as well.

not sure what your ideas are if you find them but it’s not recommended to eat them due to a high chance of ciguatera, and losing a finger.
