    help please

Tried again to fix this by deleting this page, cookies and history then reloading the page and logging on but to no avail. Looks like I'll just have to live with it. Also I noticed that the button to mark "as all read" is no longer there. I assume it's part of the re-design.

    help please

I received an email from admin asking if any posts helped resolve this issue. I replied that none of the posts provided any help and other than the email I received, the site administrators had not provided any helpful advice.

Hi Ellicat, I've cleared both my browsing history, cache and cookies but still have that message. I use Google Chrome as my browser.
  5. This message is on every forum page, [[Template core/front/global/breadcrumb is throwing an error. This theme may be out of date. Run the support tool in the AdminCP to restore the default theme.]] How do I get this fixed?

    Waste of fishing time!!
  7. A pedestal seat on the front casting deck saves my back during casting sessions.
  8. Hi Chris, No fingerlings are ever released at Youngs Crossing as it's not part of the PRFMA's approved stocking plan. A number years ago (10+), at certain times I used to catch the odd very small bass in shrimp traps left overnight at Youngs. I believe that they were from natural breeding.
  9. Youngs Crossing is not the well stocked larder like NPD or LK especially after the influx of bass from those dam. The escapees need their fat reserves to give them time to adapt to the harsher conditions there and generally don't get back to their plum dam physique.
  10. Yes, you're to fish from the bank or from your paddle craft. Go to the Seqwater website for more information. https://www.seqwater.com.au/locations-and-guides Luc
  11. Have a look at the PRFMA website for help fishing freshwater for bass. There's a number of useful articles for you to read. http://prfma.com.au/articles/
  12. Any bass around the 4 beacons!!
  13. In any case, using a cast net in Qld freshwater is illegal.
  14. Captive fish bred fish especially if given hand feeding are not used to hunting for food and have a lack of fear of bigger fish. At the Bribie Research Station, during experiments with jungle perch fingerlings, it was found they did not associate bigger fish with danger. The researcher actually had to teach the fingerlings o be afraid of bigger fish by using pheromones from the skin of jungle perch which are released when they get injured (ie chewed on). Even going from a dam to the river below, fish find surviving in the river harder than in the dam. Food is not as plentiful and competition is much fiercer.
  15. You'll have to install a couple of heaters soon for those early winter starts!!
  16. With the cooler weather, redclaw numbers may be down until the temp warms up.
  17. Bet you're glad you're not on the water at present!!
  18. Heathy looking bass on the measurer. I'll have to do a trip to Hinze but it's a long drive from Pine Rivers!!
  19. IMO, apart from the murkiness of the water, the rotting vegetation of the newly flooded area have reduced the oxigen content of the water. The dead shrimps in shallow pots tend to bear this out.
  20. Still at 68.5%, no water release advice as yet, they may let the level go down with water usage unless we get more good rain.
  21. NPD at 67.2% as of 07:50 this morning. What a shame they'll start releasing water at 68%.
  22. 62.1 % this morning. Don't think it's going higher unless we get more good rain.
  23. NPD at 58.1% as of 08:05 this morning. The rate of inflows has reduced but might get to 60%.
  24. Hopefully, the new contouring of the creek bed below Kurwongbah means there'll little fish kill when it stops flowing and dries out.
  25. Great rainbow photo. The gates to fishing heaven.
