recreational fisho's shafted again

while going up the highway the other day for a fish off moolloolaba, the subject of new regulations for snapper

came about. eg closures, well there was nearly a bloody fight in the car and we were all on the same side:ohmy: can anybody tell me why we recreational fisho's are not allowed to fish during the closures, around the full moons i'm guessing, for a four month period, may through to september, but the charter boats can fish all they want for the. no take species for recreational fisho's where's the fishing party now' our political voice or is it really, hmmm..... look it just pisses me off if i go for a fish around the bay and get onto a school of fish, eg snapper, but can't keep a couple for a feed, all the while the charter boats are goin for their lives, trying to make the most of the opportunities, and lets not forget,charter boats do social trips as well..

i smell a rat, and it's a big basstard too....
