So a mate, my brother and I decided to randomly go flick some bait around last nite about 10pm, dropped the lil 12' tinnie in at Pinkenba boatramp and headed only 500m inland, before settling on what looked like a productive location, 30mtr off the bank

3.5hrs, and 2 whole mullet (cut into strips later) come up with

8 bream from 18cm-45cm-wish big one was at BRC time!

4 snapper all above 25cm (my bad I thought that was legal size - have since bought a measuring chart today from BCF)Unfortunately I kept the 25cm+ ones thinking they were 23cm rule!

1 Shovelnose of about 70cm

1 Spangled Perch???? (see attached)

5 of these slug things (see attached - upto 25cm)

I don't see why such a statement should be made. The angler knows he was wrong, why make him feel worse?

point taken, apologies

I don't wish to make the guy feel bad.

have a good one

edit: but yes shrimpo we all make mistakes, every now and then, so I guess this is just one of those times,in his credit he knows he made a mistake.

my post was just a one off I didnt think it would attract a reply.

fished around the bay a bit. as a kid on the trawlers these used to come up in the nets and it was the last thing you wanted to grab while sorting. if they are the same little beggars we used to call them prawn killers and they have a very nice set of choppers that are similar to the ones found on centipedes - only bigger, with a similar sting. have been bitten by both. beware :) nice oyster cracker mate, btw
