can i fit a plug to my transducer?

i would like to know if it would be possible to fit a plug to the cable of my transducer, i want to run the cable from inside the hull to the mounting point for my sounder and to make it removable and avoid loose cables laying around when not in use id like to fit a flushmount plug where it comes through. thanks in advance Cam

which brand sounder there may be a thing allready available.

i have in the past cut and reconected a transducer lead but it wasnt pretty but it did get a dead transducer back to life so it is possible be warned the cable is very fine inside and well insulated
