queensland 1st popper fish

Hey guys, bein the fishintragic I am I went out again today n decided to try a popper,I am guessing that this fish is a tarpon? Correct me if Im wrong.

Looks like a small giant herring? better than a tarpon mate nice work, where did you catch him? or was it a secret spot.

That is an awsome catch for the pine mate! should be proud of yourself, a rare and good catch this far south.
