resolved cant view thread photos

some threads I look at I cant see the photos, just comes up blank with a small red x in the box. please help its driving me nuts!

Are they older threads? Some older threads have lost their pics due to the recent upgrades

Hey cowfish I haven't been really following all the news about the upgrade. Is there a plan to recover the old pics? It would see a shame to loose all that history:(

I don't know either:dry:. Hope so, there were some nice pics in some of those threads:(

Can you please list the threads with links so we can check them. If the photos are from our site then we can check if we have them in a backup if they have not been transferred properly, or if there is another issue we can contact the author to resubmit or email them to us.

If however, they are from an external website there isnt anything we can do about that, and so thats why its not the best to host photos on external sites as it does mean that there is a chance that the photo may be removed or that website closed etc down the track which ultimately affects our site.

Ok so after some research I think there were some photos missing, not sure why (maybe something didnt copy over properly when we upgraded the site).

In anycase, we have re-uploaded all the images from a backup so they should all be there again now.

Please let me know if there are any still missing. If you do come across a forum post that has an image missing please reply with the post id, or url link (otherwise we'll probably never know and the photos will remain missing)
