Okuma baitfeeder reels

Travertine?

I've used the non-baitfeeder version in the size 30. It was pretty good. Nice and smooth, but you will need to wash it well, especially the roller bearing (the one in the bail arm) and the external screws as these weren't built out of the best parts. But otherwise was a good reel for the price:)

I have the Travertine 55 baitfeeder.

Compared to it's little sister in the Okuma range the EDB Endurance, I reckon it has a much better instant anti reverse and feels more solid too.

Bought it about 12 months ago, and over that time it's copped a fair flogging. Has done well by me, but it is starting to show some signs of wear.

For the money they are pretty good value I reckon.

I got a spare spool with mine...mono on one braid on the other or two line classes if you prefer.

If you compare it's drag, finish and build quality to that of the Shimano BTR range ($140+) or the similarly priced Okuma Eclipse Baitrunners, you will see what the extra $ will buy you.

What do you think any good.

Bri.

Bri I`ve been using 2 ebd60 B/Feeders for a couple of years now, still nice and smooth actions,no complaints, but like Cowfish13 said wash it well.

Out of 22reels in my armoury 7 are okumas that I use fairly regularly, and have not had a problem with any of them.My okumas are light, medium, and heavy duty spinners, baitfeeders and an overhead.

cheers
