how long do you fish

when i go for a fish it is normally for about 4-6 hours for a local trip,eg the river, but i have been known to stay out for days offshore fishing, but mostly 10/12 hour sessions, i thought this was normal:unsure: :fishing: hard..

i've doneplenty of 24hrs+ sessions on the river

breakfast creek or boggy creek are good spots to drop anchor fo a snooze while waiting for the tide

after 7 years of owning the boat i am still yet to sleep in it, the time is comming though.

i have been doing quick 1 or 2 hr runs when close to home under 1/2 a hr away. if i have to drive more than 1/2 a hr its 3 or 4 or 5 hrs .thats all land based fishing local to brisbane.

Restricted to between 9-2.30 during the day, mon, tues, thurs (still waiting on my electrical artc;) ). Occassionally 9-5 Wednesday. Need to keep the fishing/family balance dontcha know!! Have to fit my housework in as well!!

The classic is the only overnighters I do these days, although I may do one at Monduran this year. Generally no longer than 7 or eight hours for normal trips.

Generally like to have a couple hours minimum.

If it's a quick sesh,it's usually up to 2 hours for me.Otherwise normally 6 hours or so even if the fish aren't biting too much. When they don't bite,that's when I take in the surroundings and enjoy the tranquility and peace of doing absolutely nothing and being clear of mind(some would argue my last point:P )

For me anywhere from a quick hours flick after work to 16 hours anymore than that gets a bit tiresome in the Yak

yes a 5 am to 10 am if you havnt got a feed u are not getting it

As long as it takes to get bored of it and then add approximately 3 hours for those many "last" casts;)

if i didnt have to work,eat,sleep i would fish 24/7
