I noticed this too about a month ago must be feeling the pinch from bcf I guess. Woohoo I say:woohoo:

ventured out to A-Mart Kessels rd and they have small range but thew guy suggest hit the capalaba store .. I did. its got a huge range (biggest for amart at least)

30% heaps of stock. The guy there (super helpful& knowledgeable) must own the joint, as tried to sell me a couple of nice reels, t curve, beach rod sounder & gulps which he has plenty of btw ...at the moment at the moment (ie lime tiger , nuke chook, banana prawn.)

I notice at Macgregor the 305 off ended 15/11 so i guess that applied all stores.

Smides,

That T Curve is something else. I think I will Lay by it as my primary sp rod. Fella who served me at amart Morayfield was only young but knew his stuff.

Even better, he only uses sps and put me onto a spot down Redcliffe way to try at some stage. Mind you he has his reel spooled with 2 lb braid. I don't think I could try that light with confidence but if it works for him good stuff and good tussles with the fish to boot.

I walked out of there knowing that if I had the cash I could have easily accounted for a few of the specials which were shown to me.

yeah hulk I know what you mean, they're good aren't they! Called a mate new to fishing keen but no idea and met him at A-mart capalaba. the chap lined him up with a matched shimano sp setup, spooled him up with some light crystal line, scissors a few chemically sharpened hooks just in case and all for just $140 ... another one hooked :fishing:
