Very hard session at the dam yesterday the fish did not want to co operate. Started at 5/30am first bass at 7am, a lot of casts in between. I tried all different types of lures but they were just in their shut down mode, I was on my way home by 9am and only managed a few bass and one yella, as the yella was the last caught I gave him andit was him as he squirted me a ride home to my place. All fish on vortex s/baits mainly boney colour in 5/8oz.

PS we now have to contend with,mini wasps, spiders and sand flies, I think the latter got me as I have big red bites all over my legs.

Rocket plenty of yellas still around, as it gets hotter they may move out further from the bank, so you better get amongst them

Brisfisher berkley 2" powerbait in firetiger. If you can't find them just use any contrasting colour ie geen body black tail etc
