Fishing Brighton Area

Hello.

I am taking my nearly 3 year old son on his first 'official' fishing expedition on Saturday shore-based around Brighton.

Anyone have any tips for me that might make it more enjoyable? I think high tide is around 11am.

We're not really out to catch anything in particular, just out to catch anything!

I'm not sure if we'll do near the Hornibrook or around Dohles Rocks. Any recommendations?

You would proberly do better at doles rocks up around the bait shop more of a chance of a few little whiting or the odd bream that way the little tacker will have a great time . The mud flats around brighton are pretty barron .
