Finally - I got one

After months of painfully persisting with plastics to the point of nearly giving up, I finally caught a fish on one.

It was a 43cm flathead and I caught it just south of Tipplers

It's a great feeling Brian breaking your duck isn't it. Well done.No better feeling epecially when the inner voice is strong saying this sp style of fishing is rubbish. Good to silence the negativity. I'm no longer a doubter that's for sure.Enjoy the fish yet to come.

Nice work, ive been trying relentlessly to get a notch on my belt! even stood out in the pouring rain in my business clothes today and anyone that lives on the coast would know it was bucketing down this afternoon! Hoping to score my first down at tallebudgera creek Saturday morning.

Ive given up taking bait with me - thats gotta be heightening my chances of a goal soon!
