Best line for reel

My reel that i use mainly for bait is slowly running out of line and i feel like i need to replace it anyway. It is not an expensive reel, just a shimano hyperloop in 6000 size. It would be nice if someone could point me in the right direction to what line i should get. It could be used for trolling. i was thinking some sort of mono.

Mono, believe it or not try Anaconda owns brand, it is one of the thinnest least stretchy lines I have come across.

It wouldnt be anything huge, mainly flathead and cod and whatever else in those sorts of environments. I also find trolling for bream really successful but that will be done on my smaller better rod and reel.

wilsons hi tensile sport is good and cheap, 20lb anchored a 625 cruise craft in 115 mtrs of water, when the anchor wouldnt, and lo stretch is also good line, both of these are mono lines

the short of it kev, it's strong, cheap, tested, don't know about lighter lines though, 20 through to 40lb is good gear for the price ay
